At Castcold, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains your rights regarding returns, refunds, and warranty claims.
1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with your Castcold thermostat, you may return it within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. The product must be in its original, undamaged condition with all accessories and packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty.
2. Return Process
To initiate a return, please contact our support team using the details on the Contact page. Once your return is authorised, we will provide a return address. Items must be shipped back within 14 days of authorisation. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for lost returns.
3. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will process your refund within 10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that original shipping charges are non‑refundable, unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part.
4. Warranty Claims
All Castcold hardware is covered by a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period starts from the date of delivery. If your device exhibits a fault during this period, please contact us with proof of purchase. We will, at our option, repair or replace the defective unit free of charge. Shipping costs for warranty replacements are covered by Castcold.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from improper installation or use contrary to the user manual.
- Cosmetic wear and tear, including scratches or discolouration.
- Damage caused by liquid ingress, power surges, or extreme temperatures beyond the product specifications.
5. Payment Policy
All prices are quoted in Pound Sterling (£). Payment is due at the time of order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other methods displayed during checkout. Your card will be charged upon order confirmation. For your security, we do not store full payment card details.
If a promotional discount was applied to your order and you return part of the order, the refund amount will be adjusted proportionally.
6. Exceptions
Products purchased from unauthorised resellers are not covered by our warranty or refund policy. Digital items and services (e.g., subscription to advanced app features) are generally non‑refundable, unless otherwise required by UK law.
7. Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK legislation.
